Hi there. Just think back to about the pre-cupholder days. Circa. 1984-85.What has caused everyone-almost- to become so dehydrated while they're driving.Why the big bitch about not enough cupholders. Or god forbid- not even one in my rolling living room containment. I remember when they first came out and all the car magazines scoffed at the idea.The European car mags. thought it silly of the Americans.Now and for the longest time, one of the vehicle specs.and marketing tools are the number of cup holders.Wow gotta get me one of those and look at the brilliant engineering on it's opening and closure. Looking at that I can finally understand how the Americans got to the Moon. Very impressive! A.B.S,Air bags from hell, G.P.S .Car stereos with more buttons and controls than the lunar module.And now the biggest technological achievement D.V.D for the bored land pilot. Let's get back to the fundamentals of driving and start off by weaning ourselves from our mothers teet and drink something before you grab your keys .Thank-you and good evening. Mike

The GErmans rejected the idea for the longest time. After all, you are supposed to fodus on driving, not drinking - especially when going 150mph on the Autobahn...

I still need to get myself one of these cupholders I'm a big drive-thru guy and the big cold drink in the crotch area thing doesn't feel too good after a while... even worse if you spill a few drops

My 928 came with a PO mounted mobile phone it was bolted on to the center tunnel below the consul on the P side. since the hole was there anyhow I bolted on a cupholder, the CH is from pep boys and required some trimming, I used one of those bolt head caps that are used on license plate bolts looks very good ( dark gray on black interior) and works great.

Theres no way Iam driving with out a cupholder!
