1993 928 GTS 5M w/29.5K mi - for sale
It is with much displeasure that I have agreed to sell our 1993 928 GTS. There has been much discussion in this house over the past few days/weeks regarding this topic. We originally bought this car so we would have a 928 that we would drive more than the 95 GTS and also for my SO to drive back and forth to work on nice days.
When we started looking for a GTS several months ago, she originally said "no red" and guess what. This car came available and it was so nice we just couldn't pass it up so we bought it in spite of the color, I happen to really like red 928s. Bottom line, she has yet to drive the car and has decided she would rather have an automatic to drive in traffic. Soooooo............

All the particulars and plenty of pictures of the car are on the link above.
Since buying the car, we have spent several thousand dollars and done ALL the maintainance including timing belt, water pump, plugs, rear pads (the ones on the car squealed BAD) and ALL the fluids flushed/changed. When we bought the car it had been lowered so I had it raised up to stock height and had an alignment done. It runs SUPER STRONG and doesn't leak anywhere! There is a complete documented history including window sticker, purchase contract and ALL records from new! I also know the first owner and would hook any potential buyer up with him to answer any questions regarding the car while he owned it.
I have also spent countless hours cleaning the car as you will see by the before and after pics on my web site.
It now has 29,530 miles and will be sold with the original stock wheels as well as the original black door panel inserts. The only non-stock items are drilled rotors, the Weltmeister springs and an RMB. I have the stock springs as well as the original muffler which will go with the car. Everything works and it needs absolutely nothing. The exterior is a "9.5" and the inside is a solid "10."
Back in early April, I took the car to the Auto Fair at Lowe's Motor Speedway where it took 1st place in peoples choice voting in the 928 class that included 11 other really nice 928s. Among the other 928s was Jerry M's national PCA top award winning 1991 928 GT, Stan P's super nice 93 GTS and a mint 89 GT.
This is a REALLY nice GTS, I originally thought we would have this car forever! Asking price is $45,900 OBO, more than some cars out there and considerably less than others, none of which will compare.
I will sell this car to anyone except Jim_H! Just kidding, Jim I know you've had some luck lately haven't you!
If you have interest please send me a PM or email to: czach928@aol.com

The seats in the first page of pictures have Wet Okle' (sp?) seat covers on them and they were on the car when we bought it. That's probably why the seats are in such great shape. They are too thick and I do not have enough head room in the car with them on the seats. Chris Lockhart asked about them and if he is still interested I'm going to sell them to him otherwise, I'll probably sell them with the car if a buyer is interested.

Weissach,
Randy was responding to a smart a** comment/post I made to his first post that I have since deleted. I guess I unknowingly broke the rules of posting etiquette and this is Randy's way of telling me. I also corrected the infraction by adding a price to my original post.

Oh...that is a superb looking shark! I wish I could afford it... perfect color GTS and a 5 speed at that
Good luck selling her! I hope a Rennlister lands this beauty.

Thanks Danny and JE! If it were totally my choice, we'd be keeping this one too. She loves 928's like I do, just no room to keep 3...... yet? It really is as nice as it looks in the pics.

Wow Chuck, this one is tempting to me. My 89 just needs some fender flares and they could be twins. If this car was around 12 months ago during my search I would be a buyer in a heartbeat. She is a beaut and the price you are asking is quite fair. Good luck on the sale. This car HAS to go to a 928 diehard, its too nice to send it to some undeserving home.

Thanks Seth,
I have missed my red/black 89 GT ever since I sold it and was excited to find its twin in a GTS. I really hope it goes to someone who will appreciate the car and take good care of it. Given the car needs nothing, I think the price is fair too.
