Strange sounds from front right well
Hey guys, Thought somebody might be able to claify what I am hearing. Here is the rundown. I have an '86 S. Everytime i crank the wheel right or left I get a very loud creeking sound from the right front wheel well. It also is present when I slightly move the steering wheel. It is also heard when the brakes are applied closing in on a complete stop. In addition to the creeking sound I am also getting a loud metal-metal rattle in the right wheel well when I hit bumps in the road. As far as I know it is not the brake pads and the rotor.
Could that creeking sound be a ball joint, tie-rod, or the rubber bushings on the A Arms? What could that metal-metal rattle be? I know the coilovers are tight, all the brake bracketry is tight I am confused. Any help would be great.
Thanks Guys,
Michael Robinson
