Need pictures of S4 or later model cams for person who's going to check used set for me and who might not know how to spot good set from bad. All I have is this and ones Mark Kibort posted resently:



Looking for overall view of the cams and closeups of:
- either good or bad lobes (like new, badly worn and/or pitting)
- teeths for chain (like new and/or worn, totally missing is obvious but pics of that will do also)
- bearing surfaces (new and/or worn)

Preferably cams out of the heads. Also pics of the 2XX 0X part numbers at the rear ends would be great. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

Interesting. Your GTS cam wear patterns look exactly like my GTS cams, which do not look anything like an S4's or 85/86's. Prior to seeing your cams, I was thinking that maybe there's something wrong with mine, but I guess not. Thanks for the link to the pics!

I suppose in all honesty I should disclose that they are no longer "my GTS Cams". They are still in the NW.

Thank you Garth and others, exactly what I was looking for. Missed GT thread with end pictures earlier. Pretty much have all the pics needed for 928 camshaft guide for dummies.
