well..i think the time has come for me to part with the 928 - i have not been diligent in driving it enough and i told myself if it came to it sitting around i'd let it go - i store it in my neighbor's garage and even though it's just 3 houses away, when i head out somewhere i'm always just taking the car that's in my garage - i probably will miss it when it's gone, as my wife and i took some great trips in it - it's not a garage queen (but it's always been parked in a garage) ...more a road warrior - here's a link to listing

while this car will start instantly when engine is cold, if I drive it and park it more than 15 minutes, it needs about 20 seconds of cranking to get going. I’ve replaced the temp and temp II sensors, but it still does this. It will always start, just doesn’t jump to life like when cold.

Try renewing the fuel pump check valve, it sounds very much like its this.
