Default TT bearings question

I am starting the removal of the TT and the trans to reseal the trans. While I am In there I am thinking 3 super bearings and the super clamp as precaution in the future and added value if I sell the car. Is this overkill?
I did finally check the flex plate for straightness and it was dead straight.

Check with Constantine. He has advise on the options.
I assume you have experience with trans re-sealing. If not, check a couple of threads:

Thanks Michael.

Those threads will certainly be helpful to anyone thinking of tackling an automatic transmission refurbish.

Hard to answer the original post's questions about our products being overkill. How often does anyone want to do and pay for a TT rebuild and possibly an engine refurbish?

Cheers.

I’m not dropping a TT/trans ever again. So… get ‘er done right the first time would be my suggestion.
I think the poster’s question had to with using either 2 bearings (plus rear dampener) or 3 bearings.

Which ever rebuild is used for the TT, would recommend getting rid of the 28mm drive shaft.

Too many shearing failures with them.

Is there 25mm available?

Yes.

Greg Brown has his 300M creations which I believe Mark A. also sells, we have our own from a different material and used 25mm drive shafts as long as they are in good shape.

Constantine has full-up drive shaft upgrades as well.
