I've thought about something like this...or possibly modifying the armrest so that part of it would flip forward with a pop up holder on the underside....I don't know that I would be able to reach back behind me to use something in that location while driving....

I agree, if the cup holders was the other way around, closer to the armrest is going to be easier to reach?

May be somebody can look into if it's possible to install our cupholder in 928? It just needs one side hole on center console under the trim to mount the whole thing

and don't rely on french fries next to the seat rails to soak up a drink...they won't... however, hot tamales candy functions quite well as a general "dust catcher" when located along the seat rails
