Air conditioning problem

David;
68 years old here. I still can’t believe it took me as long as it did to buy an air tool set up as well.
The Quickjack will work fine in your garage. My garage has a steel beam running the width, so the ceiling is only about 7 feet tall in places. The Quickjack will elevate your car so the wheels are about 21” off the ground. Just enough to manage rolling the trans out, attached to the rear subframe, supported by a rolling jack and wheel dollys.
read this thread before you start a trans drop/install project. And get the Quickjack first.

just to emphasize, do NOT use a floor jack plus lumber to support your transmission and shaft during lowering/raising. That driveshaft alone has sufficient weight to send you the hospital with a TBI if it bonks your head in the process. The motorcycle jacks referenced in the above thread provide great confidence in safety.
