Hard to find $699 of value in a Bosch FPR.

This what I am trying to improve on.

LH euro's need adjustable FPR's (I can't tell if that is incorporated into these)

I just think it is good to have as many people making AS MANY DIFFERENT parts as possible for the 928. Competition is good. Multiple sources are NECESSARY!

One example why, I called Precision once upon a time for help with fuel lines and got ignored, So I had to spend a LOT of time coming up with my own solution. It was not easy but my solution is superior and looks a lot better. (better than OEM too) From filter to fuel rail (hose line fittings) 3 different manufacturers + a nascar shop. What a PITA that was.

That is built into the cap design - just not 3D printed as of yet. Single set screw with hash marks to indicate fuel pressure and a locking nut.

Thanks for your inquiry.

The three sets of prototypes should be done in 4-6 weeks. Then we are on to spec'ing out the correct springs for each model year.

This is going to be fun.

Just curious why you're not interested in using the generic aftermarket replacements? They're not expensive and they've been tested

To be fair you have never answered any of my emails. I have asked about these and your injector adaptors. Maybe I am going to spam but its frustrating. I have given up.

Default Prototypes should be available soon

Some time back I plumbed the start of a fuel pressure regulator and damper testing rig.

While I wait for the prototypes I need to complete this.

I plan on dialing in and testing the new FPR and and FPD versions. I will need to test the heck out of the diaphragms.

What I cannot figure out is how to mimic the injector cycle.

Any help would be appreciated.

You're a software guy? Then use a microsquirt or Aduino. Add a routine to simulate or populate the string for trigger wheel input based on a timer. Something like the loop timer function that runs and ramps the RPM based on the time routine. Crude example below.

Timer(), 100ms
RPM() = RPM() + 100
if RPM() > 6400 then rpm() = 800
Call timer

Also could use something like this shown below but I would think you'd need take it apart and upgrade the injector driver transistor to handle the current of 8 injectors.

And I cannot make any promises, but there is a good chance we're going to produce some caps in polycarbonate so we can watch the spring and damper in use.

Don't you think it's going to look like a valve spring where it cycles so quickly it would look like it'll be stationary? Is that worth the development effort?

I'm really interested in the performance of the diaphragm. I'll be looking for leaks and such.

Maybe some serious high speed photography.

Why do EUROS need adjustable. I have a EURO and always wondered how adjustable works when there is two of them. How do you get it all synced up. When reading the fuel pressure from one point do you adjust both evenly when setting desired pressure. It will be good to see a EURO version available that I can actually get a hold of. Not from lack of trying...

Greg they are not adjustable - we have the fuel pressure regulators and damper in stock now.

You have email already just waiting for a reply. I thought you said you didn't have any. Sent to a couple of your adresses. I was wondering why the comment they need adjustable.
