Good 928 examples available for around $9300.

YEAH RIGHT! Car journalism today is even worse than journalism generally.

"While values are slowly climbing upwards, there are still good examples of this car for around $9,300."

The 944 and others don’t suffer from a “hideously complex box of gears”, maybe they just have a torque converter driving one rear wheel only.

Changing the clutch on a 944 isn´t a present!

I'd call this clickbait more than journalism.

It’s an interesting opinion piece which is nothing more than a bunch of bottom feeding examples showcased for what it’s called an article. I guess if you go out and find the biggest piece of garbage for each of those models, there you go, under $10,000.

Anyone here with a post count higher than room temperature is more of an authority on classic cars than this person.

These are probably the "great examples" he was talking about.

That whole article was full of sh*t.

BMW 635CSi E24 starting from $3000 and average is about $8000.

There's no way you can find a clean, decent E24 for $8000. Those start from around $19K-$20K.
