...just clean your car!
Today I started the multi-afternoon process of spring cleaning, including getting the beast ready for an upcoming wash and shine concours in May. I took all floor mats and lose carpet pieces out and cleaned them thoroughly. In the process I found a whooping 2 Quarters!!!
This is quite unusual - I had cleaned the car in these areas a few times before and found some coins that I removed. In the meantime, only myself and some mechanics / tire installers have driven the car. I never ever carry coins in my pockets. Yet, I'm finding new money. Is my car trying to pay me back?

Nicole,
I was there weekend before last and gas was "only" $2.35 a gallon for that California low,low octane unleaded. Can't even get 93 at most pumps, really scary.
I know it cost me almost $40 each time to fill my stinkin' Taurus rental car. Part of my love/hate relationship with the Bay area - guess which part.
Has it gone up again?
