Hello, brand new 928S owner! I am having trouble finding someone that works/specializes in 928s in Orange County. From the search, people recommend Auto Strasse and Sleepers Speed Shop but the recommendations are a few years old. I called them both and they no longer work on 928s, both of their mechanics that did have left. Any recommendations?

Well, that's easy! "In the Neighborhood" is Precision Motorwerks - Anaheim CA. Owned/operated by Greg Brown. His Rennlist name is GregBBRD. Check out the posts he's made on this forum!! He did essentially all the work on the '95 GTS I bought last spring from 2014 - 2021.

Yes, you are a fortunate individual. Just remember. This is a super car. The parts are supercar parts prices. Working on them is super car prices. You get what you pay for. You can't get better than Precision Motorwerks. Like seriously, you are taking it to the master.

IMO Precision Motorwerks is the cheapest shop anywhere. Once the repair has been completed or any updates that are required it's done. Some shops ( I have personally witnessed this) complete the repairs about 80%. This how they get you to come back.
Also I have witnessed shops that will skip over very obvious issues without mentioning it the unsuspecting owner. The PM shop will offer a shopping list of things that need to be repaired or will be in the near future.

Another endorsement for Precision, They have been looking after my 928 for years now and can help with all regular maintenance and when you are ready they can help guide you on updates and performance too. Fair warning though they are always busy so plan ahead.
