The only difference between the 28.10 and .11 is the final drive, right? I've got a line on a 28.10 that I want to swap into my US '85. It does NOT have limited slip, and my car does. Can I have that swapped over?

Also, I'll be able to save my old transmission for spares except for the final drive, correct?

 

Correct, all the gear sets are identical except for the ring and pinion gear set.
