Default nice gt

You girls can sit and whine and cry and pout all you want, but the fact remains that I'll still be right here by your side, buying every single car you want and then pricing it up for a SUBSTANTIAL profit! And how 'bout this, theres absolutely nothing you can do about it!

Translation --- naana naana naana naa. Just how old are you Low Miler?

Most people that have the means to buy every good 928 will just do so and keep their mouths shut.

The best thing about this post is that you cant erase it...it will always be here for us Nancy's to pass on to fellow rennlisters and interested buyers.

Who do you think your target market is???? and where do you think they come to for help and answers???

Think about it for a minute....Think hard.... you are on it now if that helps.

Yes Rennlist! Where 950 people have viewed this post! Nice Marketing effort.

Low miler you sure are not a marketing genius..

I have myself bought and sold a few cars with profit and will continue to do so. I am going down to Stuttgart this weekend to pick up another Porsche.

What I do is buy a car that I like and don't mind keeping it, I do however as soon as I get it registered in Sweden advertise it for a value I know that at least oen true enthousiast will pay for it. I do not, and here is where we are different, go out and try to buy cars under other peoples noses. I find it important to do business in a way that gives me a good reputation and so far it's going great.

The Porsche community is not bigger than that the word of mouth will spread very fast and a bad rumour will stop some of the real enthousiasts from buying Porsches from you.

A Porsche is not a car you simply buy to use, you buy it for it to give you pleasure driving. And if there is no pleasure in buying the car there is no point in buying that example of a 928 since it will come from a car dealer just in it to make money.

I've made som money to importing cars from Germany to Sweden, this since it is tricky to find the nice examples in the massive market for cars that enthousiasts want.

So I guess we do similar business, but on the scale of "moneymaking vs. in it for the fun" you scale is purely tipping on one side.

And how the hell can you claim to only sell the best examples there is, the blue car on the pictures is as far as we can tell not mechanicly sound with a high temperature reading, unknown oil pressure, very (extremely) dirty engine compartment and covers for electrical components missing?

What do you do with the lemons, do you keep them for spares or do you build track cars out of them?

My guess is that you wait for a fool to walk in and give that poor soul a lesson of that there are more than one twist in the expressions saying that "there are no such thing as a cheap Porsche" and/or "The sales price is only the entrance fee."

Now go hide, and some people might just forget about you..

And another thing.. When buying a 928 in this price category, wouldn't you at least want a full leather interior?

Maybe lowmiler will be so kind as to post his name and business name in this thread to help future shoppers decide whom to buy (or not buy) their 928s from. . . .

hwyengr,

Careful or he will never let you purchase one.

As for e-bay ratings those are negotiable as most know so referring somone to your rating is like telling them to talk to your mom.

I know there have been times when I should have cut and run and ended up looking like an ahole cause I didn't. I am guessing this is the case with lomiler, it's very rare to find this big of a ******.

Default lowmiler

lowmiler

Poll: Should lowmiler sell cars or read Dale Carneigie?

Somehow I don't think it will change his basically obnoxious, inflated ego. But he doesn't care, he is a broker and full self importance b/c he can buy and sell all of us. And he can call us names and be exposed for what he really is and that qualifies as a public service announcement. Thank you broker-lowmiler, self proclaimed example of how to alienate almost everyone. [note: I couldn't imagine where I would find a use for this icon, but hey, here it is! thanks again.

~sarcastic voice on~

We should be careful to not alienate lomiler as, someday, he may be the only
928 seller around.

~sarcastic voice off~

I'd like to know what he's smoking....... I need something that will make me think I am all knowing and all seeing.

if anyone needs to contact low miler, call him at 317-506-3022. His name is Todd Johnson. I really wonder if he has a legitimate salesmans license with the state of Indiana ? I really think the guy still sucks his thumb.

Id really like to buy the gt in question, but im afraid Todd will have a tissie fit. As he thinks all the 928's, should belong to him. in the meantime there are a ton of guys who have sold more 928's, than this bozo. he only has a 24 rating on ebay.

A serious question: if one wanted to buy a car on ebay, why would he bid on it before the last few minutes? That is, what purpose is served by bidding on it early, other than mercantile masturbation?

So, bidding early is "premature mercantile ************"?
