"God is Good but Satan is Great"

It is offensive to me but that's MY problem.
I'm not sure why he was booted for a short time. He used a certain "f" word but I have seen it used on this board more than a few times. Hopefully it wasn't because of the "Satan is Great" statement.

It seems to me that the purpose of a board is to post TOPICAL statements designed to evoke responses.

"You pays your money and you takes your chance", meaning that not everyone is going to agree with every statement.

Some signatures are "statements" and are going to evoke a response. If the "statement" is not 928 related, the practice here has been to banish the thread to the OT board...........rational, functional practice.

The less BS content here the better, including controversial signatures......

Just because someone prances around acting like a jackass should not, by lack of response, imply agreement with or acceptance of that behavior. Still, Jackass behavior is not the reason for this board and as such should be eliminated as much as possible.....

Finally, this place is a benevolent monarchy, not a democracy....

For the record, "super" means "higher" or "above someone else". That bothered me. But not to the extent that I couldn't grudgingly live with it everytime Evo posted anything. What nailed the coffin, to me, was when he used some names and the f-word in the same breath, an personally I think his attack on Johan was vicious. Evo has apologised. I have no problem with Evo, he seems to be a nice guy who lost his cool. We all do that. I have moved on

Hey Jim,

I haven't been down to the shop to survey the damage yet. First order was to get some transportation, which is now taken care of. Got me a Subie of all things...and guess what...this thing just screams....definitely would take on a 928...without a doubt....

Next step is to put on a belt and check compression... maybe Alllah is with me and the valves are fine...

I'll post the numbers once i get them..

Later,
Tom

Hi Erkka

Back to special 928s.
Yes, you found the correct quote in the Porsche web site.

About pictures of the seats, take a look at this link - hope it works!
http://uk.f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/...berg/my_photos

In this link you will find copies of two different original (German Language) catalogs for my car. Also in an album called Porsche interior there are a couple of poor shots of my 928 seats - I must re-do them when I have time

There seems to be some dispute about the name of this model but the catalogs don't help at all with a name.

Hi guys any news about special 928, I have seen some special order cars like cars in really bright colours and with extreme interior, like yellow and purple. In the 80´s this was quiet common when the shejk´s had bad taste...

Think Rothmans wasn't official model and I think this one was done on normal Euro anyway:

This Rothmans car is not official but 4 928 S were made for the racing drivers in 1983:
- Derek Bell, RHD car
- Jacky Ickx
- Joëchen Mass
- Stefan Bellof.
