Shops in Northern Va

I had the pleasure of driving home from work while stuck in first gear, in DC traffic. The pinch bolt on the rear coupler had released as occasionally it's difficult to shift out of first or reverse. It was a simple fix to attach and tighten the pinch bolt - although it may happen again as I continue to troubleshoot the difficult shifting. But it did have me wonder what reputable shops are in my area (Reston, Leesburg, etc) if I get in a pinch. I'm using my 928 as a daily driver so I may not have the luxury of taking my time to fix issues as they come up. Does anyone recommend any shops in my area, as a go-to or to stay away from?
Thanks, Tom

You could start with a place called "Auto Sport Systems Group" in Fairfax, VA. Their number is 703-876-2811. When I went them to get an estimate from some TIG welding work on my 928's rear evaporator, they seemed to have more than their share of vintage Porsches that they were working on. My shop is in Davidsonville, so I wouldn't recommend you driving there from Reston. So, I'd give them a call to see if either 1) they work on 928s or 2) they know folks in NOVA that do.
As an alternative, you could see if one of these shops work for you: Porsche Repair Shops Near “Reston Virginia”

Instagator56/Pete,
Thanks for the input. I'll give Taylor and ASSG a call on Friday just to have a conversation about potential future work.
Thanks, Tom
