Default ‘78 OB EGR Diverter valve pressure transducer thermo valve

Hey Guys,

Can someone explain to me how these systems work? Or have a link to an explanation? My copy of the manual doesn’t say much. I’m trying to understand how the vacuum works with and effects function of egr, diverter valve, deceleration valve, thermo valve, pressure transducer and all of its connections, barometric cell, check valve. Also the function of each of these components. I know it’s a big ask, but any help is appreciated.

I guess really 6-13 in this picture and what each of the coloured hoses does and why it’s connected to where it is

Thanks

I think the best explanation is in the 1978 service info guide. Here's an extract of that document that covers the EGR stuff.
