Default Exhaust clamp leak

I have a slight leak of exhaust gas at one of clamps where the cat exit mates to silencer. I’d like to replace the clamp rather than just slap on some paste. Can the new clamp (92811142400) be pulled wider and pushed over the joint, or does the joint need to be separated and the clamp pushed over the open end of the pipe? Looks like a big job to move the entire system back from that joint if it must be separated. Or is it easier to disconnect cat at the downpipes, and pull that section forward off the silencer pipes?

You need to separate and then install. Stretching the metal will kink it and will be a source of air loss due to the metal deformity.

Thank you Khalloudy. I imagine it will put up a fight separating things but will be fun trying!
