I want to replace my fiber optics to the slider ***** with LEDs, and haven't found much that's very specific about what works. Found one reference to using a 3mm LED.

Anyone have more details: size, did they have resistors as purchased, where to buy, etc.?

Wonder if this would work? Comes as either 1.8 or 3mm bulbs.

How bright do these really need to be? Night vision is a thing.

Agreed. I powered my fibres with an led in the head unit, drilled the slider ***** a little deeper to get the fibre closer to the front of the ****. Just enough difference to see their position at night. Too bright seems redundant.
