Looking for shop recommendations
As my 82 nears it's date with the collision shop (yes, inattentive driver pulled in front of me just 3 wks after purchase) I hope to have some of the mechanicals sorted over the winter. The bigger items will be A/C and man. transmission synchros. Can anyone suggest a shop or tech familiar with the 928 in the Buffalo NY area? I'm willing to take it a reasonable distance (central NY, western PA, eastern OH)

You have Stan (Mr. Merlin) in PA. He might be your best bet. I would ship your transmission to Precision motorworks in California. Expect about $5k for a complete rebuild and about 6-9 months.
