Zirconocene

Getting back to work on my S4, continuing to evaluate the fuel lines, I removed the front damper line, the short one that runs under the oil fill port. It really just feels like I've been dodging bullets since I bought the car:


If you can't make it out, printed on the fuel hose is "7-89". Yikes.


Guess which part was touching the oil fill port

Even not being a golfer, I know that divot is bad news. I really would not have thought that oil fill port would get that hot.

Yikes, yikes, and more yikes. I'm sure more surprises await at the back of the engine.
