Default pressure safety switch

Hi to all 928 owners. I have a beautiful '84 928s with every option. I have gone through the whole emissions system and replaced everything from the fuel pump to all vacuum connectors and plastic parts which were all cracked or broken...or so I thought! Even after changing plugs wires and dist. cap/rotor with quality OEM parts ( previous owner used discount parts) My 928 seemed cold blooded and ran like crap until it reached temperature, and I live in southern Arizona! Recently I read an older printout listing known age related issues. The last part I not replaced was a "pressure safety switch?" Sorry the actual name was on the box which I threw away. This looks like a check valve located just forward of the coolant reservoir. I installed a new one(about $35) and my baby now runs about 50% better with no pre warm up hesitation. I hope this info is helpful to other 928 owners.
