Thanks, Ron, for the PM. Yes, I know that the least I could have done for $250 is put a new battery in the watch. But, as they kind of say, " it was running when it was parked (packed, in this case)." If you will shake the watch a few times it will charge the battery a little and then if you wear it regularly it will keep the battery charged.

Actually , Ron do not embarrass yourself by taking the watch to your jeweler for a new battery because you will discover that it a self winding watch. In fact that little thing in the back that you think might have broken off of something is the self winder. Your watch is probably as nice a quality self winder as your $3000 Rolex (and certainly much nicer that the $200 Rolex I recently bought in a Walmart parking lot in North Texas).

HAHAHA Thanks Jerry! Shows you how long ago it was since I bought an “analog” watch! I set the date and time, and it’s working great… thanks again!

any pic can be made into a background-
in this case the hands are not functional-
I have seen apps where you can create a custom face and even a chronograph- (which would be cool)
but they are $2.99 a month- stupid

need to create a cool square face background that compliments the 928-

I am a big Tag fan and have always loved the Monaco

Steve McQueen wore that Monaco back in 1969. Classic, if dated and pricey compared to the modern iWatches that can essentially have any face/function. The Monaco was a plot point in Breaking Bad, though! Cool show.

Just bought this thru iWatch on line, shows “Le Mans” at bottom, referring to Raymond Boutinaud who ran his 928S at Le Mans in 1983/84. Japanese quart movement, stainless band, nice weight! You can customize to show S, S4, GT, or GTS under the !. 42mm watch body. $162 shipped.

Would you please post a link? I Google searched iWatch and only Apple products come up. I'd be interested to track down something like this.
