New suspension components on!
Bilstein/Eibach and Ott Droplinks are on in the rear!
I started cleaning everything at first till I realized I didn't have enough time to do all of that. Still working on the fronts, with new motor mounts.
Cheers

Man, I ordered drop links from Jeannie 4 weeks ago and they are apparently still on back order........I'm "Jellyous" man.
The function is to remove the leveraging factor induced by the angle of attachment to the suspension and thus gain more roll resistance from the antisway bar(s)

Shane,
I am considering the exact same setup now. Can you please share your experiences before/after the springs/shock/droplinks? Namely- height, feel, handling, ride, harshness, etc. Why did you decide on Bilsteins instead of Konis? Thanks.

As soon as I get Heidi back on the road I'll be sure to do that. From what Louie said they really help the car turn into the corner better and stiffen the car up so there is less body roll throughout the corner.

Shane,
You are going to love that setup. I just completed mine about 3 weeks ago. New Bilstein/Eibach setup. New lowert ball joints and tie rods. I already had the Ott drop links on the car.
The ride is only slightly harsher, but the cornering is unbelievable. Now I have to put better tires on the car. THe Kuhmo's are almost worn out, probalby go with SO3's.

All done! :)
Rest of the suspension is completed. Wow!!!!!!!! Heidi has a new attitude on life now!
I installed Bilstein/eibachs, Ott drop links and x-pipe, new MAF, 930 steering wheel, V1 w/remote, Performance chips, motor mounts, new rotors and Hawk brakes, H4 headlights, transmission flush, ate superblue for the brakes, gearbox flush, and a set of 17" turbo twists. This morning I got a four wheel alignment, and took her for a test drive.
Thank You Louie Ott!! This car handles so much better with the drop links, it rides flat through the corners, and the front really turns into the corner much better. It feels like it lost 400lbs off the front and rear.
The Ott by-pass is wonderful. With that and the Performance chips Heidi really roars to life.
Thanks to 928 Specailists, 928 International, and Louie Ott, you have all made my car much more enjoyable! Bwaaaaahhh
And to everyone here for the information to install it all!!

Can someone remind me - do you install these drop links on all four corners, or just on either front or back? How do you know the right adjustment, so the car does not start over or understeering?

There are only 3 mounting points on the droplinks.
So you can keep it stock, stiff, or extra stiff.
I'm guessing that it would not be a huge hassle to change the settings.
I'm adding mine to all 4 corners, so that the overall stiffness will increase
on both front and rear equally. So it should not throw the car into drastic
oversteer or understeer. Although I may want to stiffen the rear more,
because I prefer the rear loose, over the front...

Hey! Shane,
What's body roll?
Did you put the rotor shields back on -in front of lower A arm-?
Out of curiosity... did you pull the hub, compress the springs and drop the shocks thru the lower A arm or did everything come off at once?
Looks good, now all you need to do is drive those puppies.

No bloody body roll anymore!
Rotor shields are on, shocks and springs were threaded through the upper a-arm, and the lower was unhooked from the frame and swung out of the way since I was pulling the steering rack and cross brace to do motor mounts. Wasn't easy but got it done.
Heading out to Spokane tomorrow for the PacNW Track Attack on Saturday. Yeah she will get driven there. Helmut got a good workout weekend before last chasing Heinrich and fellow PacNwers around rural WA. Triple Digit Speeds and all.
Nicole,
Yes all four corners or just rears or just fronts. Being adjustable is a real bonus, allows you to set it however you like. Mine are basically set neutral for now, which is still a step up from stock. Definately a worth while mod.
