Installing RHS upper window seal
I';ve got a new seal to replace this one. Any tips for installing the new one please? Do I start by locating the thrust wedge and work out from there, or start at one end? Any end preferable? Don't want to mess this up as the seal's expensive! Prior to this I've only installed the door seals so not worked on any of the window seals.
Thanks for any help.

I guess i would line up the aft end where it meets the lower seal and start there. Start by putting the larger part of the seal in its channel then do that smaller outer one. When done the outer edge should sit about flush with the metal trim with out any bulges. I just did two of these with the lower seals not in place. If you use lube in the small grooved channel it will pop in and out easily and you can reposition it. Not a big deal...you wont damage it.
You can see here a section I haven't pushed yet..
It may be harder for you with the mirror in the way at the front

Yes I’ve done them both sides on Blumaxx. Add soapy water to the groove and use a flat interior tool to help guide it in the groove. Once you figure out the correct orientation, and using the flat tool with just the right touch, it goes pretty quick. I started on front edge and worked back. Make sure the space for the wedge is properly aligned with the holes for the wedge in the door frame

Not completed the install yet (started at front and it will be easier to start at rear edge and locate the wedge-shaped rubber at end of seal) but have found it's dramatically easier with the door card off allowing the upper trim piece to be removed. That was it's easy to get the 'flaps' on the interior side of the seal on the interior side of the metal flange, and tuck the tongue-shaped flaps into the recesses along the frame where the door trim clips locate.
With the trim piece attached, it's very hard even to see the narrow channel where those flaps sit between the flange and the trim piece, let alone make sure they are properly located. It's a breeze with the trim piece off and only 30 minutes work to remove card and trim.
