Mark,

I tried emailing the area reps, too. They failed to mention that Sears had the equipment. Based on Mark's experience I just called Sears to confirm they had the Hunter DSP400. The people at the front desk of the Automotive Center got a little nervous when I mentioned that I had a Porsche that couldn't be lifted. A brief chat with the actual guys back in the garage cleared everything up.

Brilliant!

Just called my local Sears. Yep, we have the Hunter DSP400. $89.95.

Moral: Call Sears, they probably have it.

agree on the driving 100 miles to settle the suspension. one other item, the alignment tech needs to rotate each tire one revolution after attaching the unit to each tire in order to calibrate. don't let them jack the car to do this. make sure they have enough cable and ROLL the car forward in order to calibrate.
