Default Tiny Vacuum Manifold

This group might appreciate this:

Final product on the left, prototype (really that just means that I screwed up the measurements the first time and had a chance to reassess all dimensions) on the right. Aluminum body (billet!), nickel plated brass hose barbs. After I thought about it even more, there are other ways to make these things even more compact and, potentially, cooler looking. Fun little project.

The hose barbs are intended for 4 mm ID hose. Not totally sure if I'll end up using this but I'll have it for the possibility that I have some vacuum leaks that I need to address, in which case I'll undertake a more complete refresh of the vacuum lines.

Cheers

Wonder if this will fit the 7 way for MY86.5? I have had to replace a couple of times.

Similar billet based forms are available ex-stock in multiple materials (commonly aluminum) and ways e.g. https://www.ebay.com/itm/17337763780...QAAOSwkkRfYsl-

Can save on machining and many different port configurations and thread sizes are possible - this is 1/4" FPT but 1/8" FPT commonly available too, usually larger sizes have mounting through holes too.

I agree that is simpler, but way bigger than the one the Zirconocene fabricated. The stock material is 40mm x 40mm which may be necessary if you are trying to flow a significant amount of fluid, but is huge for a vacuum block.

My point is there are lots of pre existing options for those who cannot fabricate their own - some are small/compact - search is your friend.

1/8" NPT Low profile Aluminum VACUUM MANIFOLD

1/8" BSP 7 way Aluminum Lube Oil Piston Distributor Value Manifold Block

after searching a bit as you suggest, there are definitely a good number of options in a number of configurations, so if someone wants an off the shelf option I'm sure they could find one that would work.

I went for the plastic variety. They are basically 1 time use but they're cheap. Your aluminum one looks much nicer though
