Question What is the torque to use?

What is the correct torque to use for the bolt at the clamp between gearbox and TT?
In the workshop manual it's a bit unclear to me.
It looks like 46 or 85 nm?

Cheers/Peter

Hi Jim,

thanks for your reply.
I see that for the automatic gearbox, but for manual it says:

Clamping sleeve bolt 10x1.5 8.8 48nm
/driveshaft 12.9 80nm

Are there two versions of material used over the Years?
Just wan't to make sure, I would really hate seeing that bolt snap.

it appears the early cars used a different bolt at the rear but now it shows the same 931 421 240 00 bolt on the clutch coupler and at the trans input shaft .... Examine the bolt it should be stamped for the 12.9 grade . If it is the 8.8 then it only gets 48 nm which is not much !
