Thanks everyone! I'm really excited to get cracking on this car. Theres a LOT to sort out and I really have my work cut out for me, but I'll be taking it for a spin after an oil change and a small fuel leak fix. Also will be installing a proper wide band so I can actually see how lean or rich it is. I'm not stranger to cobbled together cars but its nice to know there are people I can reach out to who know these parts in that type of application.
I am REALLY trying to find details on this car. I can't find out how to get ahold of Mark Robinson, and I can't find any posts by the previous previous owner. Any help people here can give me from their memory does me wonders.

I will say, I am not exactly enthralled with the way some of the wiring and kit is installed on my car. Its been a long time, but there's massive room for improvement.
The 626 isn't some wild car, its just a really nice example of a normal car from days past. My dad is a retired Mazda master tech, and I remember helping him bleed brakes and clutches on them when I was 4-5 years old in our garage. I had to have a nice one as soon as I had the means.
On topic though, I took the 928 around the block and at some point along this cars life someone removed the center of the oil level sender and glued a penny in its place. It fell out during the test drive and there is NO DOUBT who left that oil stain. Guess I've got my project for the day. It did run pretty good though I need to pay some attention to the poor wiring for the MAF extension.

And front seats, although I am tempted to retrofit newer Porsche seats... the factory seats are pretty expensive and I don't know that I'll have much luck finding them in decent shape.
Just saw your video going over the car. Interested to see how the project progresses... or maybe not since any of the comments trying to be helpful I posted get removed.

Saw the YT video from the FB group - good video BTW (I also checked out the 626 vid as well)
That Turbo piping is something and having the MAF under the car where it could get soaked would be a concern.
I bet the car makes close to 400 wheel as it sits, once you get your wideband installed, it would be interesting to see what kind of AFRs you'll see at the top of 3rd.
Someone spent a small fortune on the car at some point even the new leather dash, center console and shift boot with the deviated stitching is all expensive.
