Thumbs up

Hi there,
congratulation to your new car. A good choice.
I‘m from Germany, and bought a similar car three years ago. It was an import from California, and the sun and UV exposure burnt the dashboard and the POD housing. So take care and try to keep it in good shape.
It is a real exciting car, so simple, robust, and reliable.
Have a lot of fun and enjoy cruising.
Take car,
Winfried

I use Zymol Treat for the leather and Zymol Vinyl for the vinyl. Expensive, but all natural ingredients and a little goes a long way. Their waxes are outstanding too.

Oh wow nice to see the car has a brother in Germany! Very cool.

Thanks again everyone for all the extra tips and compliments. I’m very lucky. I’ll do my best to keep it in the best of shape possible.

Quick question: Is everything in the car vinyl except for the seats? What about the original luggage cover?

Attached a couple photos, not sure if this is leather or vinyl. Thanks!

It depends.

Some cars have other stuff (dash, small door panels, rear quarters) in leather.

However, even without other leather, the steering wheel and console lid are usually leather. The shifter boot for the 5 speeds is too, but you have an auto.

The luggage cover is vinyl. You can see the cloth backing on it.

Hi Superman928,
just to make it clear: the beauty is a she, they are sisters.

Therefore, take care of her and yourself.

Regards,
Winfried
