Default Track photos + Lambo pics (56k warning)

What a great day at the track.

Drewster was out racing his Euro.

In OT there is a discuss about these huge banana wings, are they real?
Hell yes!

This Porsche is pretty damn fast and sweet.

Now for the lamborghini!

Who needs to go to Hollywood and be famous. You only need $200,000 for one of these and its like having an instant celebrity with you. A crowd gathers no matter where you go.

There were alot of people at the track. I got pretty damn sunburned and had a blast. They also had Harleys drag racing so about 1,000 bikes were there also. If you live in Phoenix you still have time to go to Firebird the lambo might still be around.

Did the Lamborghini run on the track?

Cool pics.

No I think the owner races Vipers or something like that. The lambo owner did let somebody drive it around briefly. I couldn't believe he let the machine sit out in the AZ heat without some shade all day long. Even Rx7s out there had something to cover them.

Spending cash does not make one an enthusiast; it's probably just a short term diversion for the owner, who might move on to another car in a couple years, or a yacht, or racing horses...

I've also come to realize that $$ does not equal IQ, though the reverse can sometimes be true.

I imagine the handle on the center console in the Lambo is an appropriate thing. Sure is a clean car. I like the angles.

Tom is correct - the Lambo owner has 3 race prepped Dodge Vipers. No chump change there.

The Red Porsche is a 993TT who won a slew of races even, the Pikes Peak mountain challenge.

I told myself I wasnt going to drive my DD on teh track anymore but I coul;dnt resist - being that my track shark needs suspension work. Overall - great weekend and I even moved up a bracket.

Thanks Red for the pics and coming out - I'd like to see the short clip of me hitting turn 3! -

You know what's funny about the Lambo? They turned the center console into a handle, so the passenger can hang on for his/her life...

TDelarm - You may have. Remember those "priceless" ads. Pretty funny - not for the owner though -

Nicole - I do recall the owner saying that the Lambo "felt" unstable over 140mph. I find that hard to believe but then again - Ive never driven an extreme exotic before. Nice Looking car though!

Default No!

Oh man, that Lambo pic is quite possibly one of the most painful things I've ever seen. Ouch.
