My engine doesn´t work well, help!!!
Hello good evening, I am having a lot of problems to be able to make the engine of my 928 s4 1990 EURO work well, let's see if you can help me.
The engine starts but the monitoring relay (green led) jumps, I have put the test relay on it, the left bench does not work at idle, the collectors on the left bench are set at 50º and those on the right at 250º, If you accelerate it, if the collectors on the left go up to a higher temperature about 200º +/-, but there is still a big difference between those on the right that go up to more than 300º. So the left bank burns gasoline. I have checked the compression in the 8 cylinders and it is more or less the same in all, the calibration of the camshafts was done with the comparator according to the manual, if we have tested the injectors with their wiring outside and they pull gasoline well, black spark plugs (8 o'clock), the belt markings are on the site, according to a porsche specialist who sends you photos.
If it is true that knock sensors are not bosch, they are ridex, they told me in the store that they were compatible (at what bad time I said yes), but now I'm thinking of putting them bosch, could it be from the sensors? Is each sensor for a bench or do they work for both?
We no longer know very well where to go, we have spark, gasoline, it does not hit exposures as if it were out of point, it starts and idles at about 800 +/- laps, you remove the cables from the spark plugs on the left, the engine does not You hardly notice it, the ones on the right if you remove one almost stop.
I hope some charitable soul can guide me.
UFF !!! I have made it long.
Thanks in advance.
