Hi Jeffrey - in the St. Louis Area the expert vintage Porsche shop seems to be Reid Vann. I have not used them yet though as I'm pretty new to 928 ownership still.

Personally I can recommend Ecotech Auto on Watson Rd. in St. Louis - they have done a lot of work for me on my similar era vintage BMW and know old European cars well. Ask for Misha. I haven't taken my 928 there yet but wouldn't hesitate to.
