I don't know which tube is the one, but I attacked my drain holes from the top with a trombone cleaning brush. Works great. It's long enough to go all the way to the end of the front drains.

I don't recall it being one of those, its closer to the Firewall as it runs down the A pillar.

I found it
none of those
you have to stick your hand way in back of the reservoir- on top

very short- feels like a straw cut at an angle-

I remember a post from Rodger saying his was pinched against the reservoir-

I think mine is the same deal-
When I moved it on the top of the reservoir I could get the weed wacker string through-
When it went back to its natural place-
blocked

My sunroof closes properly and evenly but I still get leaking around the headliner in heavy rain. Is it a logical conclusion that this must be due to some blockage in the front drains? There is no debris blocking the openings to these drains and I am able to gently feed string trimmer line into both front drains without significant resistance. However, I cannot see the line come out of either drain. It appears from this thread that the driver side drain tube empties somewhere behind the coolant reservoir; I don't see it after feeding 2-3 feet of line. Where does the passenger drain tube empty?

John

I found one factory pinched behind the vacuum "pod" on the drivers side too.

OK thanks...I'll hunt around some more. Do you know where the front passenger side drain empties? I suspect that side may be somewhat blocked as well.

Everyone says to feed trimmer line down if you suspect a blockage, or even as a maintenance thing. But I have found that just pouring some water in each of the four drains and looking under the car you can quickly see if it drains or not.

That will work great if it does drain, if it's blocked or mashed closed behind the reservoir on the passenger side or the vacuum canister on the driver's side, then pouring water in the drain won't work so well.

I'll try pouring water first; if it backs up, then I'll probe further with the trimmer line. Has anyone tried to blow out blockage with compressed air? If so, does that method risk damaging the plastic drain tube?

John

Compressed air will likely blow the line off the sunroof port, then you're really in trouble.

Exact same thing on drivers' side sunroof drain....found to be bent double and not allowing front drivers side drain to work.
Have to wonder if someone was not happy at the factory so decided to be mean...I've heard of other instances where this same thing was discovered....

Now I'm battling a hole at the top; either me with a piece of weed whacker string or the screw someone drove into the corner of the headliner is now leaking water into the cabin. I thought I fixed it with some of that rubber stuff thats in a spray can but last time I went through the car wash it started leaking again...grrr.......
