Default is there an idle speed stabilizer on my 928?

Hi all,

Quick one I hope...

Is there an idle speed stabilizer on a 1983 Euro "S"?

If so - where?

also the pipe on the top of the intake plenum - the one on the right hand side - ehat is this? I thought it was just a vapour return?

thanks

No idle stabilizer. There are an auxiliary air regulator which raises idle speed when cold and a decelerator valve that lets air bypass the throttle when you lift suddenly.

I'll guess that you have an automatic and the line you're wondering about supplies a vacuum signal to the tranny.

Thanks - can you point me in the direction of the aux air regulator and decelerator valve please?

The pipe I was talking about it the other one - the one on the side and not the front.

Thanks

JC
