Always was a fan of Bott. I'm a new fan of Brick Red Metallic!
Thanks George

Ziegelrot was Bott's favorite color. There was an earlier car in the same color - a 928S - that he drove. Caught fire in the new owner's garage but was saved with a new engine and a few other bits...

Neat story. Thanks for sharing.

"...In order to get the car ready for onward sale and a new registration, certain modifications were required, such as replacing the plastic bonnet with the standard aluminium bonnet and fitting the serial number 001 to the carefully reinstalled 4.5-litre engine. In other ways as well, all of the other components had to be refitted to series standard."

Curious to know if everything put back to 1988 spec. Were any of the special bits left on the car such as the digital dash, the RDK or the PSD?
Would like to see more pictures of the interior.
