Looks a little rough, but if it stays at the $2k amount, it may be worth it....looks like it has an '87+ rear section & wing.
I'd probably take the gamble if I had another spot in my garage.

It has a fiberglass replica rear cover note how the lights sit too low and there is no PORSCHE in relief between the lights ....... plus it does not wrap around on the lower 1/4 s .

It could be made to look ok, with some TLC. But only if it sells for $2K...
I don't like the comment: "It shifts ok." If it said it shifts great, or fine, then I would not worry.
But I am guessing it may need a transmission rebuild, electrical work, AC work, timing belt, and other randon stuff. Not to mention repainting, to deal with the rust, etc... Once you did all that, you could sell it, or keep it. But there are probably a lot of nicer cars out there. But for 2K... Not too bad. But just be prepared to do some work, and have 5 grand laying around to spend on fixing it up if it does indeed need a new trans, etc...

if it stayed under 2800 I would buy it. If anything, I am sure I would get many good parts off of it for my 81......
if it wasn't too bad, use it as daily driver while I "restored" my 81 to pristine condition...
