My Bamboo beige gets a lot of attention and sometimes it is kind of fun
Today I was filling my 82 up with fuel at my Sam's Club and the guy next to me across the pumps, was walking away towards the Store (apparently leaving his wife to drive and park theirs after fueling) and he announced kind of loudly toward me that " That sure looks like an old one!" My response was " Yes! And I just had a birthday and the number was pretty big!" He looked kind of puzzled at first, then shook his head and went on. It is kind of neat being an old one and driving and old one.

Hey Jerry !
I've always loved Bamboo on a 928, it's such a quintessentially German auto color. My dad had a 65 VW Beetle with a very similar color...
Congrats.
Pictures??
