Question 1982 928 Driver's Side Blinker

Here are the symptoms: 1) with all lights off, such as in daytime driving, blinkers and brake lights work correctly. 2) with parking lights and/or headlights on, right blinkers work correctly, but left blinker results in blinker dimly blinking, running light dimly blinking, rear quarter light blinking and brake light dimly blinking. 3) with parking lights and/or headlights on, and when press brakes, I get all rear lights on driver's side on and rear passenger side lights partially on also. 4) with parking and/or headlights on, and left blinker on, blinker does not blink, and I get the light show.

So far I have replaced any questionable bulbs with the correct, new bulbs, and I have cleaned all the grounds in the car.

Looking for help/suggestions. Thanks

Smile Resolution to the problem

I'll reply to my own post. I hope this might help someone else in the future. The solution was a disconnected ground at the white barrel connector hidden behind the driver's side rear hatch area trim piece. This is the connector for the tail light, and what I found was one of the pins backed out of the connector (the male pin for the ground, brown wires) and would not stay in. I wiggled out the female connector for the ground, connected it to the male and put shrink tube over it. I also touched up all the connectors with DeOxit. All the lights work perfectly again!
