John, I love hearing about it.
As you know, I'm a turbo lover. After all, Ak Miller wasn't wrong. And there are more turbos out there than blowers. Go ahead and make comparisons. It's like Democrats versus Republicans- ugly, but neccisary.
I did my first turbo in 1981! That was a long time ago. And I did it with propane. I'm still waiting to see someone catch on to the fact that propane is about 120 octane. So what if the tank is cumbersome.
I'm not drunk, I'm just drinkin'.

Yeah, I have an old 1970 vintage book with AK Miller holding a turbo manifold for a Ford Pinto in his hands.

The propane is a great idea, but this baby will be made to run on pump fuel, probably 93 Octane depending on how had I turn the screw.

Jeez, I need that MIG.... and fast to start this fabrication process. My US top side is coming this week for fitting to the engine, then the real fun starts.

I'm with you john, just bough a tig welder on saturday. Let the fun begin. I think i will make a nice exhaust for the 928 tomorrow. Its so nice to be able to just walk out to your garage and make the things you would normaly have to outsource. Tig welders rock, and i highly recomend it over mig for stainless.

everytime I get in my 928 I feel that I have a sufficient amount of power to feed my need. But to hop into a turbocharged or supercharged 928 would cause me to drool at the amount of power that can be pushed out of that engine. Keep us updated!!!
