So it’s made in Australia and is aluminum and plastic. Unfortunately the rep has no pics at the moment as she doesn’t have one in stock in her office in Germany.
I'm still working on this but leaning towards a used Behr unit or possibly the Radtec listed above. Most of the Behrs that I'm coming across include the transmission cooling ports on the passenger side end tank. Can anyone recommend an accepted method (if any) to block off those two ports? My car is a manual so it only needs the oil cooler ports on the drivers side.
I'm trying to somehow preserve originality but a Behr with transmission ports obviously doesn't quite hit the target nor does an all-aluminium unit like the Radtec or the CSF. Of course even a new one from Porsche would have the transmission ports now so.....

If your never going to use the transmission cooler ports I would have them welded closed. Any good radiator shop should be able to weld in plugs pretty cheaply.
The CSF radiator looks totally stock especially if you paint it black. Exact same size and shape as the Behr. Looks totally stock in my 78 and 79 cars.
Lots of issues currently with the Radtek - especially on the 928 UK board. It appears the manufacturing process has changed and the rad now needs modification to fit.
The CSF radiator is in stock and ready to go. Looks totally stock - no fitment issues - has both coolers - if you do not use either the oil or transmission coolers leave the ports plugged.
Has the correct mounts for the earlier fan shroud. Very hard to tell if the end tanks are plastic or metal - especially once they are painted black. Way over 500 in service with ZERO issues.
Does not get any better than this 928 wise.
Why look elswhere?

Valid points my friend. Also good to know about the Radtec. I suppose all I’d have to do with the CSF is paint it and attempt to transfer my original decals onto the new unit.
Prices on the CSF on my site are about $100 higher than normal because I am buying back from my wholesaler who buys from Mark.
Mark tells me that the next batch of Radiators is due at the end of August.
The Behr radiator from Porsche is $2800. The last 5 Behr rads that I bought directly from Porsche all failed over a period of 2 years. The warranty claim was frustrating to say the least but I won in the end.
My gut tells me most of the 928 Behr rads at Porsche are NOS.
No worries as I won’t be doing the repair just yet. I am hoping to tackle the steering rack, the A/C microswitch and possibly the radiator this coming winter. Trying to get a mental roadmap laid out right now so I can quickly pull the trigger on each project when I’m ready to do the work.
