I have had an issue with the rear hatch lock. To open I unlock and open as normal but when I try to close the latch doesn’t catch. So I have to lock the hatch and then the latch catches. Of course then the security system will not let the car start until I lock and unlock the drivers door. This just started happening so I assume it is not normal operation. Any thoughts on this issue? It is a 1983S with five speed.
