Hi All,
While working in the engine compartment today I noticed a vacuum hose coming out the bottom of what looks to be the air valve on the passenger side of the engine compartment. It is about 3 inches long and bent in a U shape with a nipple on the end and is located right next to the AFM when it is in place. After looking all around I cannot find where this hose can possibly connect to as there are no missing or loose hoses for it to plug into. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

That thermo-pneumatic valve (on the hot water spigot) should be part of that vacuum line - looks like someone bypassed it.

Great....where would I find the correct diagram for that connection.....under vacuum system? Thanks.

There should be a vacuum system diagram that is located in the front-most section under your hood.
