Dual 3" exhaust
#2
I chronicled my 1st exhaust build Here, and with the 6 speed installed I’m having to redo the exhaust from the section just in front of the trans. The T56 6 speed is quite a bit larger than the 928 manual trans. It’s about the same size as the automatic trans in front but wider still in the rear. Since I had plenty of room on the 1st build I wasn’t that strict with the muffler placement and as a result, restarting from the rear V-band flanges are a good place to start.
Creativity like this is why some cars should be parked on a mirror!

VERY nice installation
May I make a suggestion:
- I would be tempted to cover the left side header, adjacent to the starter,. with some Header Wrap (https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pr...asp?RecID=9217)
We have found that the radiant heat is very detrimental over time.
