I'm in the process of wrapping up a drivers door R&R (replace outer lower rubber trim, door channel rubber, window rod guides, door stop). Everything went pretty smoothly but I did not take a photo of the routing for the wire that goes to the power mirror switch before removing the door card. Based on the location of the switch I THINK it goes through the door card as shown. Could anyone confirm this is correct? I'd like to wrap it up this weekend.
BTW - I realized there is no vapor barrier on yet. I caught that after taking this photo.
The "joystick" wiring (with the plastic multi-prong plug) goes through the rear hole in the door card. The toggle switch wiring (for left/right mirror selection) goes through the front hole. You wire the yellow wire on the single remote stud on the back of the crossover switch, and you wire the blue wire to the stud on the same side as the yellow wire (or the way the manual shows for the crossover). They complete the drivers side circuit of the switch. Obviously, the green goes on the last stud.
If that's what your asking.
