All those overhead controls make it look like something straight out of one of the original Star Wars movies. Reminds me of a Millenium Falcon for some reason.

That is definitely a deserved dig at its looks, with the added caveat that the reference point is today, mid 2020, not 1979. It's actually cool; the B pillar back side profile is kind of quirky, but overall, for the day, I like it! Not sure what my eyes would have made of it if I had seen it on the day it was introduced to the public, but I think I probably would have been of the opinion that its a badass Porsche, very futuristic, very custom, super fast, and a chick magnet!

But I know without a doubt that I would have grabbed the Firebird Trans Am if I had to chose between the two, well I think so anyway:

They should have kept the rear hatch.

a regular 928 with T-tops would be interesting
