Default AC button for S4 model

Hello,

Can anyone remove their AC button to provide the dimensions of plastic button? Note: This is the button with the AC labeling on it.

My button disappeared a few years ago and i can't find a replacement part. I could just replace the entire unit ( ac/seatbelt/warning and door lock) but id prefer to just get a button.

I was considering asking someone with a 3D printer to make a button locally.

I can't imagine it being that complicated. I really don't care if the light bulb emits through the button.

If anyone has already created the button, id be interested in buying one.

Its a good time to put your model year in your signature so we can provide more accurate assistance.

Hi Mark, thanks for the reply. I was offered a replacement just minutes after my post.

I do need a few other parts and will be calling you shortly.

Regards my year, it’s 87 S4.

my fault. I thought my footer had that detail.

thanks everyone

Have you looked under your seats? My button would fly off if I just slid my finger off to the side and let it latch by itself.

The "Name" part of your post shows you as a 'user'.

No siglines unless you pay for a membership.

I'm gonna guess you were a member and forgot to renew it.
But I could be wrong on that.
