Default Who has blue floormats for Marine Blue?

I need to get floormats for my marine blue interior and prefer Lloydmats, but worry that they are too dark? they are not open until May 20 so cannot get any samples. Marine blue
is dark, but not as dark as navy.

Any one with some first hand knowledge? Perhaps there is another manufacturer with a better match?

Love Lloyd's Mats! They are a great value as well. Every time I put in a new set they make the interior so fresh (mine are Cashmere, so hard to keep up and details really pop on the light color). Get the added appliqué of your choice on the front matts, definitely worth the few dollars extra. Waiting for them to send free sample color swatches is an important step, there are so many colors that are similar but very different, it is definitely worth the 2-3 day wait. Obviously I wouldn't buy any other brand so I'm no help on an alternative to buy before May 20th.

But Dark Blue seems to be the match according to posts #6 and #7 here:

Here's Lloyd's "dark blue" mats in my marine blue (carpet) 928. I don't think they match at all... Bought these from Classic 9 a couple years ago. I just looked at the receipt to be sure--these are "dark blue."

^^^ thanks. the photos from that 911 post are gorgeous! the Lloyd's dark blue would be a great match for my car.
I thought the dark blue would be very dark, like navy.

I also love the Lloyd mats and have always bought the ultimate for 90. is it worth springing the extra 50 for the luxe?
the idea of a heavier weight is great, assuming that the weight forces the mat to stay in place better?
surprised that Porsche will not allow Lloyd's to put any logos on the luxe mats, but no issue with the ultimate?

those are definitely not a match.....but then again, they don't look THAT bad? guess if you have had them a few years you are not that disappointed? do you have another suggestion?

I am so impressed with everything about Lloyd's Mats. I have never bought their Lux products, but you can request as many free samples from both lines as you like, so get a few from both and decide. I went with the PORSCHE appliqué, but in hindsight the various 928 logos are very nice and may be worth a shot in the future. I think you can totally customize it as well, perhaps your name or something else custom like that. If your rear floor mats and the trunk mat have seen better days grab those too, then you will have new mats all the way around. Every upgrade that you add to the mats will be enjoyed for many years.

The front mats come with a securing system of clips that attach underneath (I did not put them on). But if your mats slipping around is an issue they may correct that for you.

You can call their specialist on the 20th to request your samples and/or ask questions; he's been around for decades and is vsuper nice / helpful. Gary @ 818-723-5398.

Lloyd mats are great--they wear like iron. Unfortunately, Porsche Classic doesn't have marine blue mats for the 928, and even if they did, the Porsche mats aren't nearly as nice as Lloyds. I've thought about taking my mats to a carpet repair place and see if they could dye them to match, but I've never followed through. If you find a perfect match, please post it.
