my 1989 has the 10 speaker system with booster amp next to passenger seat. original SQR 46 works fine, door speakers work, and amp outputs work properly, (swapped speaker wires at the amp and all outputs work) but I have no sound from any of the rear speakers. can't tell from WSM wiring diagram, but wonder if there is a single plug somewhere that connects all 6 rear speakers?

^^^^I have looked at that diagram and it does not match up to the factory amp. in the above diagram, there are 10 speakers and 6 connections at the amp. in my car, there are only 3 connections, at the amp: one pair for front speakers, one pair for rear, and another pair for rear woofers.

no problem digging deeper, I was just hoping someone would have had a similar problem and save me the exploration.

Are the rear woofers still original? There's a crossover mounted on the rear 6.5" woofer, 4 pin 'in' connector and 4 pin 'out' connector that run to the rear mid and tweeter. I would pull the rear woofers and see whether all the wires are connected there.
