I have Greg Brown's oil vents on all four cam cover positions. Plan to mimic the GTS routing. Need to tap a hole in the metal oil filler. I'm going to fashion a 70 degree angle fitting to prevent retrograde oil flow.
Getting better gas flow out of the filler neck is quite an issue- with my setup I have to use a rubber bung to stop oil egress during oil changes or top ups [rare these days!]. In dare say a fair amount of oil gets back into the inlet tract just from oil changes! As with anything Greg comes up with, those breather connections are an interesting addition specifically designed to enhance his proprietary breather package design. Whether they would enhance my home brew cobbled together system I have no idea. |

I did similar to Fred but different!
I used all 4 cam cover ports and have 1 balance pipe. My 86 oil filler has the small drilling so i left it as is. My AOS is at the rear of the engine, as high as I could get it to make the oil in air work as hard as it can to get up there and to gravity feed back when the engine is stopped. The AOS could have gone at the front but the electric water pump is taking up space there. |
